Great news for gourmet lovers! TripAdvisor’s 2023 Traveler’s Choice Best of the Best Restaurants has just come out with great Kiwi news.
Restaurant The Grove in the Auckland CBD topped the list (11th place) of New Zealand’s best fine dining restaurants and was followed by four other restaurants in Auckland: Sails, Ahi and Sidart in the CBD, and Tantalus Estate Restaurant on Waiheke Island.
Michael and Annette Dearth’s restaurant is the only Kiwi restaurant to make the top 25 with a 4.5 out of 5 rating. Several top Kiwi chefs have learned the job here, such as Sid Sahrawat and Ben Bayly.
Other top restaurants mentioned in the list are Tatsumi and Jervois Steak House in Queenstown, Wellington’s Logan Brown, Nelson’s Hopgood & Co and Queenstown’s The Bunker Restaurant.
